Mountain with more than ten peaks above 2,200 meters, and Bobotov Kuk is the highest (2523 m). For others, a bit lazy and romantic, there is the possibility of renting a horse and horse-drawn carts. Also, it is possible to afford to ride a bike or ATVs through most of the Park. The trails are diverse, from asphalt to gravel, so every man for himself can find the appropriate one.

The Durmitor massif in the north surrounds the deepest part of the Tara River Canyon, so, stay on this mountain would not be complete without rafting down foaming rapids of the river. And Tara River is a story for itself ... Start of the rafting trip is at Đurđevića Tara, under the same named over 100-meter high bridge, from which the bravest have the opportunity to experience bungee jumping or Europes longest zip line.

The Nevidio Canyon, in the south of the Durmitor massif, is a kind of real canyoning challenge.

For all those paying no attention to adrenaline, stay at Curevac peak and the view from the highest point of the canyon on the river Tara and her sharp rock cliffs on one side and the mountain Durmitor, on the opposite side, is unique not only visual, but also "multisensory experience." So when you close your eyes, hold your breath and listen, you’ll hear from the depths of the canyon soothing whisper of rivers... The place that produces the iconic peace... a place where all the barriers and fears, simply disappear.

At the foot of the Mt. Durmitor stretches spacious Lakeland Heights, which, as its name says, hiding numerous lakes. The largest one, the Black Lake, can be reached by asphalt road through the magical conifer forest. There are also Veliko and Malo Škrčko lake, Sušičko, Riblje (Fish lake)... Those for whom sharp mountain air is not sufficient for refreshment, can swim in one of these lakes. Also there is a possibility of a boat ride on the Black lake.
