Rafting camp Encijan exists for almost 15 years, and is one of the first camps that have been built by the Tara River.

The Camp has a steady source of power supply, which we produce on the spot, and we are very proud that our power source is eco-friendly and we do not pollute the human environment and draw it from renewable energy sources.

Also, sanitary facilities within the camp, showers, toilets and sinks, have constant supply of hot water. Of course we cannot say that we invented it, but have created a unique and original way of how to make it warm, and we cannot run out of it...

As part of your package, i.e. during your stay in the camp, you also have the opportunity in the evening and relax by the campfire that burns continuously, and the local brandy and wine, surrounded by your friends, as well as all the other guests at the camp, experience a specific and an unforgettable night by the aforementioned fire and music...

And with the sounds of acoustic guitars, and unavoidable accordions in such events, as well as the original Boban’s drum in nice atmosphere till down famous mornings at Tara. 
Well, those are our regular „gigs„ of the so-called “Round wood „band :-), for which many say there is no better and really know to make a party...  
Just be careful, because they really know how to do their job, so guest in the lack of cash use their credit cards to tip the accordion player :-).

And the next day when you get some sleep and when you relax by the river, maybe "a little hung over”, with your first morning coffee, and when we bring all the delicacies from our kitchen, as hot donuts, honey, ham, cheese and cream, and you renew your energy then you are ready to start preparations for your and ours adventure...

But, just relax...

We do not rush with preparations, and you have some other options the next hour or two chill out at camp or by the river , and maybe even try to flirt with this our " local " beauty , who enthusiastically only a few meters of you dancing seductively and meanders in her emerald green beauty...

For those who were already visited Tara River, and stayed at our camp, there will be no problem to understand what kind of flirting are we talking about. Also for those who already visited Tara River but on some other location, we just want to inform you that due to our camp location, and the fact that we are at the starting point for rafting in the very heart of the canyon and on the bank of Tara river, you are spared of all those morning preparations, getting up early and well-known fuss and hurry before leaving to rafting trip, that is usual at all other camps, which are on the other hand located at the final rafting point.

We’re lucky and we have no problems with all the delays and long hours waiting at the border crossings and if you pick package with us you will be spared of those painful morning drive to the starting point for rafting, crammed inside vans and jeeps jumbling along dirt road while in neoprene suits at 30° C or more...

That’s another one of our strengths, as well as additional quality rafting trips that we offer, due to the specificity of our position and the camp location...
 
That’s why we say just relax... because according to some of our organization and the established plans during the implementation rafting trips, we set down the river around noon, and if you are the guest at our camp, you really have a chance in the morning hours simply chill out and recharge your batteries prior departure... That’s in today’s hyperactive and cyber time perhaps substantially more important than all the adrenaline you came to experience.
